 PART 2: 

Deepening the Reflective Approach        

The central body of the programme spans the months December to May.  Through individual reflection and group work, participants continue to explore and assimilate insights, perspectives and information already gained.  Included are: Theological reflection on:
-  dicipleship in the Gospels  and in ministry to-day.
-  the mystery of Christ and of the Church.
-  development of the religious life in the Church and its movement  towards the future.
-  aspects of the history of spirituality.
-  feminism and the experience of men.
-  culture.

 

  Aspects of human and spiritual development:
-  a holistic approach to the understanding of the person.
-  affective development with emphasis on the process of a meditative integration
   of the personality.
-  an understanding of and integration of sexuality with particular reference to living
   out the celibate life.
-  the process of maturing through accepting and assuming responsibility.
-  clarification of one's values.
-  the process of decision making.
-  group processes.
-  growth in faith and appreciation of scriptures and prayer.

 

 Workshops focus on:
-  transformation processes.
-  development of listening skills.
-  spiritual direction.
-  developing the creative self.
-  process oriented psychology.
-  yoga, body awareness, art, dreams, sacred dance.
